Three-dimensional Rendering: This indoor display for GEMS is used at conventions, and offers two conversation areas. It is shaped in an S-curve. The continuous montage reflects the wide variety of services and products offered by GEMS and their parent company, The Garlands of Barrington.
Billboard: Installed as a 12' x 10' billboard at the entrance to The Garlands of Barrington, the viewer can understand at a glance that The Garlands is an upscale retirement community, and that retirement living here is a beautiful experience. This billboard also celebrates The Garlands ten-year anniversary!
Designs for Garlands Light Poles: Designed for use along driveways at The Garlands of Barrington and roadways in the community of Barrington, they serve a double function--they are not only advertising The Garlands lifestyle, they decorate and enliven otherwise empty space. They can be viewed from both sides and are printed on weather-resistant fabric.
Display/outdoor advertising is an incredibly diverse medium that allows a good deal of creativity for designers to play with. Usually we have to catch someone’s attention in a split second!
The medium is interesting. We have a large amount of space that needs to be utilized properly so that it can be understood quickly to people traveling by.
What makes a great display? Advertising experts will give you dozens of answers, but there are two primary factors for outdoor and display advertising:
Impact: The ability to grab a viewer’s attention quickly.
Appeal: Persuasiveness and positive response by the viewer to the information.
Above all, the display's message should be simple and easy to recall. We use bright, eye-catching colors and brief, well-written copy. There are only a few seconds to make an impact!
